Details? THPS5 has details to the nth degree, as the team at Robomodo creates an in-depth catalog of skaters for the newest title in the long running skate series.
It’s no easy task getting all the little details of the individual characters right, but it seems like Robomodo is up to the job. It’s interesting to see how ‘real’ they’re trying to get too, since THPS is pretty easily as arcadey as it is a ‘sim’. I mean, I don’t think Nyjah Huston actually has glowing blue energy trailing behind him as he skates… though I have been wrong before, so maybe I should check out a YouTube or two of him in action before I say anything.
“Activision and Robomodo have really worked closely with the pros to make sure Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 feels true to the original series, and that is obvious when you’re playing,” said Tony Hawk. “There is a great mix of styles and personalities in the game – and it’s a blast to see each skater represented to the last detail.”
In any event, with a focus on multiplayer gaming and the return of the classic THPS style and gameplay, this should be one for fans both new and old. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater V hits the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 29th.
