If you’ve been waiting to dive into the 50+ hours of gameplay that The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut has to offer, you’ll be waiting a little longer.
Now don’t get too upset here, as this delay isn’t all that bad. Most games that you see getting delays in the last bits of Summer and early in the Autumn season get shoved into the following year, but that’s not so for Van Helsing’s Final Cut.
Developer NeocoreGames announced today that their latest offering, which is an all-encompassing edition of their Van Helsing series, will see a slight bump from the end of this month to the 7th of October. That’s not all that far off, just a few weeks, so it shouldn’t get anyone all that twisted up. It’s for the usual reasons too, in that NeocoreGames says that they just need a tad more time to get everything up to snuff and get the game to where they want it.
Also noted today, is that the Final Cut will be free of charge for anyone who already owns the Van Helsing trilogy of games on both Steam and GOG.com. That’s pretty awesome, but there’s more in that Neocore is looking into actually setting something up so that anyone who buys the three games separately in the future can also get the Final Cut for free.
According to the developer, they need a little more time to test things and make sure that it’s going to work out correctly. But as it stands now, you will get to download the Final Cut for zero cash if you already own Van Helsing #’s 1 – 3.
