The Valiant #3 kicks up the intensity

Valiant Comics latest big event book hits its crescendo with an issue that promises all-out action and… a romance?

Valiant is proud to present an advance preview of THE VALIANT #3 (of 4) – the next colossal chapter of the VALIANT NEXT comic book event ten thousand years in the making by New York Times best-selling writers Jeff Lemire (BLOODSHOT REBORN, Green Arrow), Matt Kindt (RAI, Mind MGMT), and Eisner Award winning artist Paolo Rivera (Daredevil). On February 18th, the Eternal Warrior, Ninjak, and Geomancer come together to face down their worst nightmare in the Immortal Enemy, but even with the indestructible fury of Bloodshot to aid them…it won’t be enough!

As the world teeters on the brink of a new Dark Age, each of Valiant’s most formidable heroes is going to find themselves recruited into the millennia-old battle for the fate of all mankind! X-O Manowar! Archer & Armstrong! The Harbinger Renegades! Doctor Mirage! H.A.R.D. Corps! And many more! Together, can they help Eternal Warrior succeed where he has failed so many times before? And, as the battle rages, might civilization’s best hope against the darkness lie in the unlikeliest of romances…?

I don’t think there’s a hero in the Valiant U as cool as Bloodshot. The guy’s basically invincible, is as ruthless as all get-out, and now he’s taking a bigger role in The Valiant, and something tells me it’s just the beginning.

It’s pretty awesome to see all the heroes that gave been thrown into this book too, all facing off against the eternal evil that is the Immortal Enemy, which is an awesome concept all by itself. Valiant really does now how to put together an awesome crossover book and The Valiant is proof positive of that. Catch the latest issue when The Valiant #3 (of 4) arrives on the racks on February 18th, from the team of Jeff Lemire, Matt Kindt, and Paolo Rivera.

And although we;re looking at issue #3 here, don’t forget that issue 2 will be out in just a few short weeks as well, on January 21st. Miss out on the first issue? You’re covered, as a second printing is set for the 21st as well. Plenty of chances yet for you to jump on board for this one before it concludes.
