Capping off The Lost Crowns trilogy of DLC packs, The Crown of the Ivory King is ready to punish Dark Souls II players with one more quest.
A frozen wasteland, new enemies, bosses, and lethal traps… sounds like the perfect place for Dark Souls II players to vacation in. The Crown of the Ivory King actually finishes off the trilogy of downloadable content for Bandai Namco and FromSoftware’s super-hard action/RPG sequel to one of the most popular niche titles of all time, Dark Souls.
There’s plenty of new stuff in they expansion for players and, if you managed to play through the previous two releases, this is the big payoff. So you probably shouldn’t miss it, is what I’m saying here. Fortunately you don’t have to wait any longer for it as the pack is now available for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC versions of the game.
Also available via GameStop, the pack will run you $9.99 USD to add onto your copy of the game. If you’ve yet to get into the DLC for Dark Souls II, don’t forget that there’s also a season pass available that contains all three expansions, that’ll cost you $24.99 USD, which is about $5.00 off the usual asking price if you grabbed ’em all separately.
