Preview: Superior Spider-Man #8

Could it be the beginning of the end for Doc Ock?

With it looking like the Avengers are none too happy with a ‘different’ Spider-Man and Peter Parker raging from within for control once again, it doesn’t look too hot for Otto and his tenuous grasp on Spider-Man’s body.

Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Superior Spider-Man #8 from the chart-topping creative team behind Amazing Spider-Man #700, writer Dan Slott and artist Humberto Ramos. This might just be the beginning of the end for Doc Ock—or is it? With Peter Parker fighting full-force to regain control over his own body, will he be able to save Cardiac and redeem himself in the eyes of the Avengers?

As a big Spider-Man fan who was not in love at all with Octo-Spidey, I’ve been pleasently surprised with Superior Spider-Man. The battle between Peter Parker and Doc Ock’s minds, both inhabiting one body in a way, has been pretty cool.

That’s not to say that I don’t want to see Pete put a mental whuppin’ on the Doc and send him packing as it were, but still.
