BYOC – Bethesda announces dates for 2016 Quakecon

The biggest LAN party around, the dates are set for the 2016 installment of Quakecon.

Ready to BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) to Texas once again? Bethesda has made it official that Quakecon will hit the Lone Star State (Dallas specifically) on Thursday, August 4th 2016 and run through Sunday, August 7th.

Kicked off way back in 1996 (yes, that was almost 20 years ago), Quakecon will be celebrating two decades of LAN parties when it arrives next August. The show has exploded in recent years and welcomed in some 12,000 guests this August, and you know 2016’s event is going to be massive- especially with Doom on the horizon.

Mark your calendars folks, and don’t forget that Quakecon is free to attend ” thanks to the support of id® Software and Bethesda Softworks®, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the event sponsors and exhibitors.”
