Dying Light gets co-operative in new trailer

Taking on zombies in Dying Light alone? That’s cool, but taking them on with buddies looks like way more fun.

So the moral here is ‘know who you’re playing with, or you could get a gas tank over your noggin’. And let’s face it, that’s a drag for everyone… well, almost everyone.

Generally not a drag though (aside from the ‘gas can’ guy), is Dying Light’s multiplayer, which looks like a ton of fun as you’ll have to figure out tactics and take on the game’s situations to complete tasks, like picking that lock on the police van, co-operatively. Individually, while playing alone, that endeavor might present a significant challenge, but if you have a well-oiled machine of a team it looks to be all that much easier… and way more fun. Bottom line, it’s nice having someone to watch your back.

As long as they’re not heaving a gas canister at it that is.

Dying Light arrives on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC on the 27th of this month in the US and on the 28th in Europe. If you can’t wait that long, you can catch a special Twitch presentation where the team at Techland will be playing a 5 on 5 game featuring the ‘Be the Zombie’ DLC content. That’ll air on Twitch at 10am Pacific time this Saturday, January 24th. Watch it here.
