PAC-MAN’s second classic platformer is getting a makeover, and there are some big differences in store for PAC-MAN World 2: Re-PAC.
PACking a whole new look
If you recall, a few years back brought the original PAC-MAN World back around for a Re-PAC’d adventure. From Bandai Namco, the game revitalized the 1999 3D platformer with a modern look for the current generation of consoles and the PC. Now that title’s sequel in fast inbound, and set to deliver the same level of improvements.
If you were wondering just how stark the visual differences would be though, well have we got a trailer for you. The latest look at PAC-MAN World 2: Re-PAC in action delivers a sharp contrast to what fans got to play back in 2002. With completely re-done graphics, it almost feels like a totally new game. At least, in terms of looks.
Originally released in 2002, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC brings back the beloved game with enhanced visuals and gameplay refinements. Players take control of PAC-MAN as he journeys across PAC-LAND to recover the stolen golden fruit. The new trailer reveals modernized 3D platforming mechanics, including a jump aim assist for players, and a completely revamped boss battle against Clyde’s Killer Frog. The trailer also shows off more of the updated designs of Spooky and the Ghosts and reveals enhanced versions of some of the game’s six unique environments.
