Superfuse brings super-heroic RPG action to Early Access this January

Kicking off the new year with a bang is Raw Fury and Stitch Heads’ original superhero aRPG Superfuse. The title hits Early Access this January.

Light it up

You don’t get too many original superhero games these days, with pretty much everything being licensed. So when one comes along, it’s worth noting, if for nothing else than it takes a heck of a lot of creativity to go to war without a known quantity.

Fortunately, Superfuse looks like it’s much more than that. From Raw Fury and developer Stitch Heads, Superfuse takes comic book-inspired action and aesthetics, and moves it into a futuristic, sci-fi setting.

The ‘heroes’ are called Enforcers, and they’re the subject of today’s PC Gaming Show trailer. Well, two of them are, as we get a look at the Berserker and Elementalist. Along with seeing both in plenty of action, viewers can also get a peek at the skill tree structure, as well as a hint of the game’s overall customization.

Here it is in action:

Set against a future backdrop where humanity has abandoned a dying Earth and set up colonies across the solar system, Superfuse is a bold and ambitious comic book-styled action RPG that features dynamic skill trees which let players choose a class and augment abilities to customize their Enforcer, as well as tons of loot to find and equip across procedurally generated levels.

Raw Fury press release

Raw Fury promises a lot with Superfuse, saying that Stitch Heads is set on delivering a title that’s stocked with plenty of action and also a deep story. It also won’t be a strictly solo affair, as players can suit up for online drop in and out co-op.

Speaking of the multiplayer, Superfuse will be opening up a beta for that on December 14th. Head on over to the game’s Discord server if you’d like to sign up for that. Otherwise stay tuned, because Superfuse will head into full retail release this January the 31st.
