Not too long ago, Turtle Beach brought back the guitar controller. While games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero are once again in stasis, the controller presented a way for players to dig back into those legacy titles, plus get down one Fortnite Festival. And they could do it all with a controller that was readily available.

Now that axe is making the leap, from PS5 and Xbox Series X|S to the Nintendo Switch family of consoles. Compatible with either the Switch or Switch 2, the Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller is here and available as you read this. So if you’ve been eagerly awaiting a better way to jam in Fortnite Festival, you might want to check out what this peripheral has to offer.

It’s a little bit of a bummer that there isn’t more on the Switch (or Switch 2) that can take advantage of the Riffmaster. As mentioned though, Fortnite Festival is out there, and is a game that seems to never wane in popularity.

Usable in that very title, the Riffmaster seems well put together. While we haven’t had the chance to see one in person, it sports a wireless connection, and a touted 35 hours of play time per charge. Unlike every other guitar controller out there too, it actually can fold up for storage or travel. How’s that for cool?

The RIFFMASTER connects wirelessly up to approximately 30 feet using its low-latency wireless connection, and the rechargeable battery delivers over 35 hours of jamming per charge. The RIFFMASTER Wireless Guitar Controller also features a collapsable design to make it easy for transporting to a friend’s house or storing when not in use. There’s also a shoulder strap for added comfort.
