Turtle Beach debuts feature-packed keyboard and mouse

PC players looking for some new hardware may want to check out Turtle Beach’s newest. The Vulcan II TKL and Burst II are both out now.

Fresh desktop

Peripheral maker Turtle Beach is back once again, this time with a pair of new units aimed at PC gaming. The company provides the fresh desktop options in the form of a new mouse and keyboard, both of which spin out of already existing product lines.

“Our new Vulcan II TKL keyboard and Burst II Pro mouse build on the success of their award-winning predecessors, delivering enhanced technologies and refined designs that help PC gamers perform at their best,” said Cris Keirn, CEO, Turtle Beach Corporation.

Starting with the latter, the Vulcan II TKL RGB mechanical gaming keyboard serves up a game-centric design. Left off the board is the numerical keypad, hence the “tenkeyless” tag. According to the company, that should leave the item with a more compact form-factor that delivers “more desk space for competitive mouse movements”.

As for that mouse, the Burst II Pro aims to offer “esports-level” performance in a wireless package. Although it cuts the cord, Turtle Beach says the mouse stocks “true 8K polling and ultra-low latency”. The form factor equally targets pro’s with a “performance-optimized symmetrical shape”, that supports medium-sized hands and a claw grip. It’s also reportedly got it where it counts, as the Burst Pro II stocks an “Owl-Eye™ 30K DPI sensor with 750 IPS tracking and 70g acceleration optimized for 99.8% resolution accuracy on all surfaces”. And yes, that last note includes glass.

Both items are available at retail now. In the US, the Turtle Beach Vulcan II TKL Keyboard is stocked at both turtlebeach.com and Best Buy, while the Turtle Beach Burst II Pro Mouse posted exclusively at Turtle Beach’s shop. Worldwide, you should be able to find both at additional retailers.

The keyboard will run you $119.99 USD, while the Burst II Pro Mouse is $139.99 USD. Check out the pair in detail, below.
