With a sequel on the way, Squanch Games’ original High on Life has another run in it too, debuting on the Switch 2 this week.
Flying high again
Well, how’s this for a surprise? The wild first-person shooter High on Life has made the leap over to Nintendo’s latest console. Yep, the Switch 2 now has its own edition of the comedic, sci-fi blaster from Squanch Games, and it’s actually out right now.
The title had just arrived on the original Switch in May as well. So to see it out on Switch 2 as well is a little unexpected. Nevertheless, here it is, complete with an upgrade path in place. If you did buy into the Switch version, and you’d like to play it with presumably better performance on your shiny new Switch 2, you can upgrade for free.
We have to say “presumably” there, since the press release doesn’t actually mention any Switch 2 improvements. For that matter, the trailer that was included today is actually the original Switch video. Make of that what you will.
If you’d like to check out that Switch trailer though, hit play below.
Fresh out of high school with no job and no ambition, you’ve really got nothing going for you until an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity invades Earth. Now, you and a team of charismatic talking guns must answer the hero’s call and become the deadliest intergalactic bounty hunter the cosmos has ever seen.
Travel to a variety of biomes and locations across the cosmos, go up against the nefarious Garmantuous and his gang of goons, collect loot, meet unique characters, and more, in the latest comedy adventure from Squanch Games!
