S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl coming to PS5 this November

GSC Game World’s survival shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is coming to PlayStation this November.

Stalking a new platform

Released last year for the Xbox Series X|S and PC, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was a long time coming. The first-person shooter brought the title series back from what was a years-long stasis, and with style, sending players back into an Anomalous Zone that was more detailed than ever before. Now that dark and brutal world is about to expand from its original platforms, and will be heading to Sony’s PlayStation 5.

The move, which was just revealed yesterday, will officially happen in short order, coming up on November 20th. This won’t be exactly the same version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl that PS5 players might’ve seen though.

Instead, the game will be tailored to the console, featuring a host of improvements, according to developer GSC Game World. Those will run the gamut from the expected Trophy support, to motion aiming, haptic trigger support, and use of the DualSense’s touchpad.

Check it all out in the fresh trailer below.
