Full Batman/Deadpool cover slate revealed, along with a series of backup crossovers

DC Comics took the full wraps off of its end of the Batman/Deadpool crossover coming up this fall, with variants and bonus tales aplenty.

Okay, we want Constantine/Doctor Strange

Fans have so-far seen what Marvel Comics will have on tap for Deadpool/Batman, the publisher’s side of the upcoming inter-company crossover. But as was revealed when this seemingly impossible meeting of heroes was first announced, DC Comics has its own one-shot in the works.

Set to followup on the Marvel-published title (September 17th) and land in stores on November 19th, the main story Batman/Deadpool will see writer Grant Morrison and artist Dan Mora at the helm. DC is promising a pretty wild tale with it too, loaded with “cosmic horror, slapstick noir, and metafictional therapy session”. Yeah, you read it right.

Batman/Deadpool wraparound by Dan Mora

What happens when the World’s Greatest Detective meets the Merc with a Mouth? Reality folds in on itself. Archetypes collide. Darkseid is. And, somewhere between Apokolips and Earth-TRN666, a sentient street named Danny hums show tunes about a crusading cape! DC Comics today revealed that Batman/Deadpool #1, a 64-page one-shot crossover comic book with a main cover by Dan Mora, retailing for $7.99 US, hits shelves on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

But DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 isn’t just a comic book crossover between iconic publishers, it’s a metaphysical car crash between two storytelling philosophies. One character broods in the shadows of trauma and justice. The other cartwheels through chaos, breaking the fourth wall and occasionally the laws of physics. Together, they’re forced to confront a threat that doesn’t just endanger their worlds—it questions their very existence as fictional constructs.

With a main story by Grant Morrison and Dan MoraBatman/Deadpool #1 launches a reality-bending saga that’s equal parts cosmic horror, slapstick noir, and metafictional therapy session. It’s the kind of comic book that knows it’s a comic book, revels in being a comic book, weaponizes its comic bookiness—and dares you to keep reading anyway!

Backing up the title meetup

But wait, there’s more! Along with the main story, there will be a selection of backup stories in Batman/Deadpool as well. As you might imagine, those will bring together even more of DC and Marvel’s best. Some of them sound pretty great too, and have us kind of wanting full some spinoffs.

While there’s been no announcement as to the overall length of these extra tales, the book itself is no slouch. Batman/Deadpool will clock in with a total page count of 64 pages.

Comic legends collide as Scott SnyderJames Tynion IV, and Joshua Williamson join forces with Hayden Sherman to conjure a spellbinding Constantine meets Doctor Strange saga. Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo deliver a kinetic, emotionally-charged encounter between Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Wolverine (Laura Kinney), where acrobatics meet adamantium in a story that cuts deep. Mariko Tamaki and Amanda Connerunleash chaos and charisma in a riotous Harley Quinn vs. Hulk showdown, while G. Willow Wilson and Denys Cowan electrify the page with a high-voltage tale starring Static and Ms. Marvel.
