SDCC ’25: Twisted Metal leads the way for Sony Pictures Television’s Comic Con return

Back again for more Comic Con action is Sony Pictures Television, and fans can expect Twisted Metal, Gen V, and more.

Did someone say ‘homicidal clown’?

The TV adaptation of Twisted Metal is back for season 2, and it’ll be playing a big part in Sony Pictures Television‘s Comic Con plans. The show, which of course plays off of the classic car-combat video game series, has a trio of events planned for the big Con, with a panel, screening, and even a fan activation. Though even with all of that, Twisted Metal is just part of what’s a pretty hefty overall presentation from Sony.

That slate of happenings includes additional panels, a special Outlander signing event, plus a series of in-booth celebrity appearances. The latter won’t be any small time events either, with some huge stars planning to attend, like Twisted Metal‘s Anthony Mackie and Joe Seanoa (otherwise known as pro-wrestler Samoa Joe), Outlander‘s Sam Heughan, and more.

• SCREENING: Twisted Metal Season Two: Special Advanced Screening | An exclusive advance screening of the first two episodes of Twisted Metal Season Two before premiering on Peacock on Thursday, July 31.
