Following up on Terry Bogard’s crossover is Ken Masters, as fans get a first-look at him in action in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
From Metro City to South Town
SNK fans looking forward to a little Street Fighter influence in the latest Fatal Fury title have a fresh look at the first of two characters that’ll be making the jump this year. That would be longtime series star Ken Masters, who’s set to crash South Town as a part of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves‘ Season One Pass.
Ken’s the second character to drop as a part of the fighting game’s first season of downloadable content, which is included with its Special Edition. And if you were wondering what the translation would be like, don’t, because he’s looking like, well, Ken.
The red-gi’d master of shotokan sports a SF6 look, but also come packing his classic costume, plus what looks like his full stable of special attacks. Along with that, Ken’s stage resembles his bro Ryu’s Street Fighter II stage, and is accompanied by a rocking version of his classic theme.
Here’s your first look at him in action:
Ken brings his fiery offense from Metro City to South Town, seeking vengeance against a wrongful conviction. Hungry to set the record straight, Ken crosses paths with the Legendary Wolf, Terry Bogard himself, setting the stage for a fated encounter.
SNK press release
Ken is set to arrive for the game some time later this summer (we’re guessing late August/early September), and will be followed by Joe Higashi in the fall. Fellow Street Fighter Chun-Li rounds out the DLC roster after that, with a release this winter. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves isn’t done there though, as 2026 will bring Mr. Big, as the game’s first season rolls into the New Year.
But there’s more as well, as today also brings “brand-new EOST and Arcade Mode content” for soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo. According to SNK, players can now “experience CR7’s journey to South Town and join him on a heartfelt mission to inspire a young child’s love for soccer.” Said mission even comes complete with some new beats, courtesy of “Fury (Siuuu),” by Brazilian producer ALOK.
