The next figure in the line, HONŌ Studio is about to unleash its unmasked version of Wolverine in his tiger-stripe costume.
The best there is
Sure the X-Men’s Wolverine has one of the most recognizable masks in comics history, but as cool as it is, he’s also just as apt to go without it on his adventures. Logan isn’t too terribly concerned with a secret identity after all, which might be because he went a big chunk of his life not knowing who he actually is anyway.
To that end, HONŌ Studio is about to feature an unmasked version of the hero in its Marvel Comics line, following up on its already existing comics-based Wolverine offerings. As with the other yellow and blue figure in the series, Wolverine (Unmasked) will feature a pair of extra hands for additional posing options, plus a stand that fans can slip their one of their own comic books into, to serve as a backdrop.
If you’d like to get a better look at the figure before it ships out, retailer Sideshow has you covered with the below unboxing.
Wolverine wears a vibrant yellow and metallic blue costume with his signature striped details. Boasting approximately 28 points of articulation, this highly poseable action figure features silicone-coated arms for a seamless look. Wolverine also comes with interchangeable hands and claws allowing for a range of display options, plus a mask (not worn). The unique, specially designed backdrop allows fans to add their own comic books to create a distinctive, customized display.
