Making the leap from the Switch today is Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends, which lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Huh-HUH!
Formerly a Switch exclusive, Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends is ready to branch out a bit. Dlala Studios and Nighthawk Interactive have brought the co-op friendly platformer to the full collection of modern platforms as of today.
The hand-drawn side-scrolling game lets players choose from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy as they make their way across three different biomes on a quest to recover a trio of tomes that protect the island of Monoth. Along the way, players can expect secrets and collectibles to uncover, time trials to engage in, and a selection of multiplayer moves to make use of like “Rope Drop, Leap Frog, and the always-welcome heart-sharing hug to help each other through the journey”.
There’s also a bit of new content for this release (though it’s also coming for the Switch edition), in the form of the Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt (C.A.S.H.) with Scrooge McDuck.
Developed by the acclaimed team at Dlala Studios, Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends invites players to run, jump, swim, and swing their way through hand-drawn biomes on a heartwarming quest to save the island of Monoth. Choose from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy and experience the journey solo or with up to three friends in local couch co-op.
