Anna Williams makes her debut for Tekken 8 Season Pass holders

The Scarlet Lightning herself, Anna Williams has officially arrived for Tekken 8, as a part of the new season of content.

Early Access now, wide release later this week

One of the original Tekken combatants (sort of, she was unlockable), Anna Williams has been around since the very beginning of Bandai Namco’s popular fighting game series. The sister of roster mainstay Nina, Anna has appeared in every Tekken except for part four, so it should be no shock that she’s made her way back for the latest installment. And while Bandai Namco announced her as a part of Season 2 a while ago, as of today she’s officially ready for action.

Anna should be posted for download as you read this, though there is a caveat. The younger Williams is posted exclusively for those who have the game’s Season 2 Character Pass or the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass. Not to worry though, if you’d rather pick her up a’la carte, as that exclusivity period will only run through April 3rd.

At that point, her DLC will become available for all owners of the base game to buy into, along with the Spring DLC Update.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN 8 is the critically acclaimed sequel bringing the legendary fighting game franchise to current platforms, harnessing Unreal® Engine 5 to bring new weight and atmosphere to the game’s battles, with every character remodelled in stunning detail and new dynamic and destructible environments. The Spring DLC update brings back the “Scarlet Lightning,” known for her breathtaking beauty and skills as a former assassin. In TEKKEN 8, Anna continues her journey seeking revenge against her sister Nina Williams. Fueled once again by this drive for vengeance, she turns to genius weapons developer Dr. Nakamura to craft a tool powerful enough to storm G Corp and take down Nina and any foes who stand in her way. The result: a compact, transformable weapon designed for maximum destruction—an explosive new ally Anna affectionately named “Lovely Tom.”

Bandai Namco press release

Tekken 8 is available for the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC (via Steam).
