WWE 2K24 Bray Wyatt Edition arrives today, includes new versions of the late-superstar and more

The loss of Bray Wyatt was a huge one, and 2K is celebrating his professional legacy with the WWE 2K24 Bray Wyatt Edition.

WWE superstar Bray Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda, passed away a little over a year ago, in August of 2023. The wrestler had been a creative force in the promotion, building a series of supernaturally-tinged personalities over the years that were all huge fan-favorites. His legacy though, didn’t end there.

The WWE picked up on the “Uncle Howdy” storyline this year, placing Wyatt’s brother at the head of the Wyatt Sicks, a new faction of grapplers. It’s a story arc that’s still very much playing out on TV, and one that fans have flocked to. Now, they can bring a piece of that action to their living rooms, with the WWE 2K24 Bray Wyatt Edition.

A new version of the already released WWE title, WWE 2K24 Bray Wyatt Edition is packed with nods to both the present and the past. It even includes a ‘Mattel’ action figure variant of Wyatt, and a version of The Fiend character that never saw television.

Co-designed by Bray Wyatt and Jason Baker of Callosum Studios, the creative brainchild of Baker and special effects legend Tom Savini, the new, unrealized version of “The Fiend” was to be featured in Wyatt’s return to WWE programming, which never came to be. Complete with a redesigned mask and a new lantern featuring “The Fiend’s” horrific grimace, this next evolution of the character is only available in WWE 2K24.

Known for his multiple enigmatic, compelling personas, his unique blend of charisma, in-ring prowess, and storytelling ability, Bray Wyatt captured the imagination of wrestling fans around the world. Whether portraying the eerie cult leader of The Wyatt Family, the mysterious host of the Firefly Fun House, or the terrifying monstrosity “The Fiend,” Bray brought a mystique and creativity to WWE that left an indelible mark on the industry.

If you’ve yet to take the plunge and buy any version of WWE 2K24, then WWE 2K24 Bray Wyatt Edition is undoubtably the version to get. The new edition includes everything from the formerly all-encompassing 40 Years of Wrestlemania edition (which we reviewed here), plus all of the new Bray Wyatt content and 67,500 VC. 2K is calling it “the definitive edition” of the game, and that’s hard to argue.

While all of that’s great, what happens if you want the new content, but you already have the base game? Well, no worries, as there’s a pack for that called the Bray Wyatt Edition Pack**. What, you thought 2K was going to leave you hanging?

The Bray Wyatt Edition Pack includes an extra 15,000 VC as well, and is the second of three options for fans. According to 2K, there’s also the Bray Wyatt Bundle, which includes the WWE 2K24 Standard Edition, the Bray Wyatt Edition Pack, and a chunky 32,500 VC. So if you want some more Bray in your WWE 2K24 experience, you’ve got some options.
