A relatively new name in PC gaming that’s blown up pretty darn fast, Glorious Gaming has just dropped a quartet of new mice.
It’s PRO time
If you’re a PC-based game fan, then you likely know the bigger names in peripherals for your chosen platform. And at this point, chances are one of those is Glorious Gaming. A somewhat new company, Glorious has actually been around since 2014, though it’s gotten to be a much bigger name than ever before over the last few years.
Maybe one of the reasons for that is the selection of gaming mice, like the ones just launched. Those include the brand new Model O 2 PRO and Model D 2 PRO series’, which are both aimed at providing a competitive advantage to users, as goes their favorite titles.
Two names, four mice
Though contained in a pair of designations, there are actually four mice total contained under the Model O 2 PRO and Model D 2 PRO names. Those include the Model O 2 PRO, Model O 2 PRO 4K/8KHz Edition, Model D 2 PRO, and Model D 2 PRO 4K/8KHz Edition. All of the above are targeted at players looking with super-low response times, optimal weights, and precision for genre play in MOBA’s and FPS’. They’re called “PRO” for a reason after all, and fitting with that title, all four mice promise some pretty great feature-sets.
Glorious Gaming says PRO series represents the company’s lightest weight mice yet. Average weights include “an average weight of 57g (Model O 2 PRO), 60g (Model D 2 PRO), 59g (Model O 2 PRO 4K/8KHz Edition), and 62g (Model D 2 PRO 4K/8KHz Edition)”, according to the press release. That’s not all though, that should lend towards ease of use, as the mice also feature non-perforated shells, “to provide a better grip during long gaming sessions”.
Thoughtfully designed, right down to the software
Then there are the guts, with Glorious pointing out optical switches that can deliver 0.2ms response times, as well as “100-26,000 DPI resolution, 650 IPS speeds, and Motion Sync technology to deliver flawless tracking from day one”. Add to that the 4K/8KHz Editions, which will provide “2,000 Hz up to 4,000 Hz wirelessly and 8,000 Hz wired”, and six fully-customizable buttons, and you have a pretty impressive lineup.
To that last note too, Glorious has something called “CORE Software”, which allows users to play around with those buttons. Players can also set DPI preferences, and access “a host of other performance-related features” via that free suite.
If you’d like to check out the above, or buy into the line, you’ll find Glorious Gaming’s wares available via both participating retailers and their own online storefront. Want pricing before you click away? Scroll down for the lowdown.
