Headphones. Everyone’s got a pair, and we all have a set we’d love to have. Let’s get into where the Nacon RIG 600 Pro falls.
RIG 600 PRO HX
The RIG 600 Pro is the latest offering from Nacon, offering dual band wireless with 2.4GHz as well as bluetooth connectivity. While this is my first set of over-ear bluetooth cans, I’m familiar with the technology.
Press a button, pair devices, and you’re off to the races. The RIG 600 Pro goes a bit further though, requiring a designated app on your mobile device to make sure everything is as up-to-date as it can be. I’ve paired with my phone as well as my PS5, with no great difficulty; being a new device, it took me a moment to figure out where the specific buttons are.
This afternoon I intend to set up to the PC, where I can watch a film and really test the headphones’ audio capabilities.
Design
I like the physical setup for these headphones. The ear cans come separated from the headband, connected only by wiring. Within the headband there are 3 slots per side that coordinate with a peg on the back of each ear can. These slots are for Small, Medium or Large heads. I positioned mine into the Large setup and was ready to find the power button in seconds.
The RIG 600 Pro have a microphone that folds down from the headset for when you need to shout commands to your teammates across the battlefield. The design is seamless: if you did not know there was a microphone attached, you could be forgiven for missing it.
The audio is clear, and was pleasant to work with. The open back design allows for great sound clarity, while still being able to hear what is going on around you.
MUSINGS
Once I got familiar with the setup, I really only had one wish. It would be nice to have a wireless charging option, though I understand that would change the budget on these >$100 gamer headphones.

I love the open back style of these so I can keep up with my latest media while still being aware of what's going on around me!
