There are no tentacled-beasts or massive leviathan in Sniper Elite 5’s latest map, but the Kraken’s Lair nonetheless does hold monsters. Big, metal ones.
Subterranean sniping
The new Kraken’s Lair map takes players back to the Nazi submarine pen from Sniper Elite 5‘s campaign as it becomes a new battleground for multiplayer conflict. Overhead walkways offer great vantage points for sniping, while the decks and corridors of the submarines reward close combat warriors. This free map is available now to all players in multiplayer.
Rebellion press release
Along with the above, Rebellion has also launched the Up Close & Personal Pack. That includes a mix of new weapons and skins for the WWII title. Here’s what’s included:
- Win & Co 1885 – Weapon Pack (Rifle + Attachments)
- ERMA.36 – Weapon Pack (Submachine Gun + Attachments)
- Tank Top – Character Skin (Karl and Monika variants)
While The Kraken’s Lair is free to add onto your base copy of the game, Up Close & Personal is not. The skin and weapon collection is a part of the Season Pass, and also available as a standalone buy for $10.99 USD.
Sniper Elite 5 is out now for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, plus the PC.
