Excellent! First Bill & Ted Face the Music trailer hits

At long last, the legendary trilogy is complete… or something. Bill & Ted Face the Music’s first trailer is finally ready for partying. And being excellent.

In the realm of cinema, there are films that are pretty much evergreen. I’d say that, as dated as it definitely is, the original Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure fits that designation.

The movie’s an 80s classic in every way. Heck even it’s not-as-great sequel (Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey) is beloved by fans. So it probably should come as no shock then that we’re getting a third.

And from the looks of it’s first trailer, Bill and Ted Face the Music is hitting some familiar chords…

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
