The developer has released a new trailer for their psychological thriller as well as a confirmation that it will have better visuals on PS4 Pro.
The Facts
Released July 28, the newest trailer for “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” showcases the game’s story and visuals. It also reveals some of the enemies Senua will have to take on from a skeletal hound to a warrior cloaked in flame.
Ninja Theory also released a statement on their website alongside the trailer confirming PS4 Pro support, with “Hellblade” capable of running at a higher resolution and frame rate when played on the upgraded system. The portion of the statement can be found below:
PlayStation 4 Pro players will have the choice between experiencing Hellblade with enhanced resolution or at a higher framerate of 60fps. High-end PC owners will have the option to play Hellblade with an uncapped framerate and in resolutions up to 4K. Hellblade on PC will also support 21:9 ultra widescreen.
“Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” is set for digital release August 8, 2017.

With the game’s visuals being as gorgeous as they are, it was a no brainer for Ninja Theory to take advantage of the PS4 Pro’s capabilities. Here’s hoping the rest of the game is just as stunning.
