Nintendo Download Underwhelms Late October

Human Resouce Machine, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, and Octodad: Dadliest Catch highlight an otherwise empty week.

Now that Nintendo’s big October releases are all out, there’s not much new to be seen on 3DS and Wii U this week.  The demo for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes has been released for all.  Keep in mind, you can only play online during specific times, so local play is probably the way to go.  No single-player or download play included.

Human Resource Machine (from the developers of Little Inferno) teaches basic, simple programming so that you can help office workers function properly- before the robots come for their jobs.  Octodad: Dadliest Catch has you control the four limbs of an octopus out of water while attempting to convince everyone you’re just a normal dad.

Other than some deals, like 75% off Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, there’s not much to be seen on the 3DS.  Both titles are available for $4.99 until November 2nd.

So, all said, not a bad chance to catch up on recent titles like Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Freedom Planet, and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
