Get up close and personal with Harran City in new Dying Light website

Take a tour of the ravaged city that plays home to the Dying Light zombie outbreak, and even print out your own zombie… should you have a 3D printer.

The new website for the upcoming zombie game has officially launched, and it will get fans closer to the outbreak than ever before thanks to a hacker on the inside. Apparently, the site was ‘hacked’ and details are being leaked to the outside world about a strange viral outbreak, one that’s claiming lives, and then bringing those unfortunates back from the grave.

So it’s a sort-of viral (pardon the pun) bit of marketing here, but one that should be pretty fun and definitely of interest to those looking to glean some backstory and insider info before the game actually launches later this month. You can log onto the site here and check it out here, safe from any viruses of the biological kind- since you’re on a computer and all and not actually there… also, this is all fictional anyway so…

And part two of this little announcement is an actual 3D-printable figurine of one of the infected from the city you were just peeking at! Ugly as all heck and ready to gruesome up your desktop (or wherever), this printable zombie requires you to have access to a 3D printer. True you might not have one on hand right now, but just think of how awesome it will be if you can sniff one up and actually get this little file printed up. Why you’ll be the envy of the entire survivor camp.

If you did manage to print one of the baddies from the file above out, you might want to check out this cool little video on painting her up. ProTips and ideas on some cool stuff you can do with it aplenty here. Dying Light the game hits the Xbox One, PS4, and PC this month, on January 27th in the US and on the 30th in Europe.
