Divinity: Dragon Commander dev diary released

Larian Games latest entry in the Divinity series, Divinity: Dragon Commander is nearing completion and the studio has released a behind the scenes video to give fans a backstage pass to the development process.

It’s always a cool deal to get a look at the behind the curtain part of game development as it’s a rarely seen portion of the industry. Which is kind of strange when you think about it as it’s also the most important part of the industry too.

I’ve been a fan of the Divinity series for a while myself and, while I wasn’t sold on Dragon Commander at first, I’m getting pretty pumped for it now. The games have all been action/RPG in nature till the announcement of DC, which is a real-time strategy game. Normally, that kind of a wide reaching change might turn off fans of a series, but Dragon Command not only looks like it retains all of Divinity’s usual charm, but it’s also shaping up to be one darned good looking RTS all by itself.

At this point, I can’t wait to see more. Thankfully, we shouldn’t have al that long to wait as Divinity: Dragon Commander is on the way for the PC later this Summer from Larian Studios.
