Dark Horse Comics prequel miniseries for developer Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic epic has shipped a little early. Like today early.
The change moved the release date for the book moved up by a full two weeks and gives fans a look at the post-pandemic world of The Last of Us and one of the stars of the game – Ellie.
Ellie is a 13 year old girl in a world that has no time for anything other than survival anymore. A pandemic has encircled the globe, infecting humans and mutating them into hideously deformed, insane killers. It’s not the end of all life on Earth, but a stark change from all that’s come before.
The Last of Us: American Dream follows Ellie before the upcoming game’s events. She’s sent to a military boarding school and finds fitting into the harsh and unforgiving world therein… difficult.
