Call of Duty gets more clannish in Ghosts

Clans have always been a big part of FPS’ like Call of Duty, but CoD: Ghosts is kicking it up a few notches with more with second-screen integration and even more ways to keep comm channels open.

I’m personally not the biggest multiplayer guy, but even I have to admit that that was pretty cool. There and more clan and multiplayer options going on here than I think I’ve seen in the last few years as far as shooters go. It’s also nice to see a developer take advantage of second-screens as much as Infinity Ward looks to be with Ghosts. It’s not necessary to play or enjoy the game- but it looks like it adds quite a bit to the experience.

As far as Clans go in general in Ghosts, Activision has officially announced that you can start reserving your official names for play. Running through October 25th, you can create a Call of Duty Elite membership and register your clan name and member roster. If you don’t have Elite membership you can still get in on the action by signing up for a free membership and joining up with a Clan.
