Easy Day Studios’ skateboarding sim is set to pull off a brand new trick. Later this year it’ll be grinding on over the Sony’s PS4 for its console debut.

Easy Day Studios
Skater XL is the first really good looking skate sim in a while, which is good news in and of itself if you’re a fan of the genre. Right now, it’s posted to Steam’s Early Access section too, so if you’re a PC gamer and don’t mind a not quite ready for prime time version, then you can actually buy it today.
If you don’t have a PC however, you’re stuck waiting for the console edition. That isn’t set to arrive till the game is final either. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long, since it’ll hit some time later this year. That though, wasn’t set to happen at all for PS4 gamers, a fact that’s changed as of this week.
Happily, Skater XL will arrive for the PC, Xbox One, Switch, and PS4 simultaneously… whenever it finally does hit retail.
