Lovecraftian horror meets geometry in Euclidean

While it might not sound all that horrific, Euclidean joins geometric looks with Lovecraftian horror in a game that sets you on “a slow descent into the dark, into madness, futility, and despair, where Things greater than you watch and wait and dream.” Cheery!

Yeah, so you can see whereas the horror kind of ever-so-slightly comes through. Yikes. I also feel the need to reprint the press release, as I think it sets the stage nicely for what you’ll find in the game. Enjoy.

Behind our comfortable, familiar dimensions, beyond the timeless depths of space, there is a Place that mankind was not meant to know. A Place hostile to all life. We do not belong there. We cannot survive there. At least, not for long… Euclidean; a game of geometric horror; a slow descent into the dark, into madness, futility, and despair, where Things greater than you watch and wait and dream. Struggle for every second of life you have left… Even knowing you’re better off dead.

Yep. That’s a smile-fest right there.

Euclidean will be hitting exclusively for the PC in just a few days, on September 25th and it looks just about as creepy and disturbing as you can imagine. It’ll only run you $3.99 USD too, and will be on sale for $3.14 USD at launch. So if you’re into some inexpensive uneasiness, this one’s your jam.
