WWE 2K26 comes to the Switch 2 this week, along with new Virtual Boy and GBA titles, Monster Hunter, and much more.
WWE is back
For the second year in a row, there’s a WWE title out for a Nintendo console. It had been a while since such an event, but the release of the Switch 2 brought WWE 2K25 (check out our review of the Xbox Series X|S edition here) to the console last year, and it’ll now see WWE 2K26 arrive.
That title lands this week, bringing the latest wrestling release from 2K and Visual Concepts to fans. But while that might be the biggest new release, it’s far from all there is to pick from. This edition of the Nintendo Download brings with it a pretty expansive additional selection.
That list begins with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, launching tomorrow. The turn-based title, set in the now-classic world of Monster Hunter, brings two kingdoms to the brink of war, set against a new monster’s arrival and environmental upheaval.
Hang on though, because Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers have some new plays as well. Included in that mix are a trio of Virtual Boy offerings, plus Mario vs. Donkey Kong from the Game Boy Advance.
Want more? Great, because there’s a ton of it, as this busy week rolls on. Fans can look for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!, and more for the Switch 2. On the flip side, the original Switch console additionally welcomes in MLB The Show 26, UFOPHILIA, and many, many more.

Mario Clash™ – Bad guys abound on precarious platforms in the Clash House Tower. In this action title released for the Virtual Boy system in 1995, defeat foes as Mario by jumping on Koopa Troopas from above and throwing their shells at other enemies. But stay sharp! You may need to throw your shell from the opposing side’s platform to stun an enemy and then finish them off with another throw.
