Spider-Man/Superman #1 detailed, hits stores in April

Marvel’s half of the Spider-Man and Superman crossover books is en route for April. The first details are in too, including the covers.

Spider-Man headlines this half

It’s a whole new era of inter-company crossovers. Comics fans were treated to Batman and Deadpool crossing over in a pair of titles for 2025, both of which came complete with backup tales featuring more unique pairings. And now in 2026, we’ve got Spider-Man and Superman to look forward to.

The first of those books will be Superman/Spider-Man #1, hailing from DC Comics in March. But as with last year, the event won’t stop there. Marvel will pick things up in April, following with Spider-Man/Superman #1, which’ll be loaded with more never before seen tales.

We finally have the details on what will be included too, thanks to a release from Marvel today. From the sounds of it, it might be a title not to miss for fans, with Spidey and Superman taking on the combined menace of Norman Osborn and Lex Luthor. How’s that for a villainous team-up?

As mentioned though, there’s more, as the backup stories are loaded. It’s there that fans will find Steel battling Hobgoblin, a 1930’s story where Spider-Man Noir meets the Golden Age Superman, a symbiote horde invading Metropolis as a part of a new War of the Realms, and much more.

  • THWIP, THWIP AND AWAY! Brad Meltzer and Pepe Larraz pit SPIDER-MAN and SUPERMAN against LEX LUTHOR and NORMAN OSBORN as their greatest villains exploit some of their greatest weaknesses!
  • In the shadow-laden 1930s, SPIDER-MAN NOIR encounters the original GOLDEN AGE SUPERMAN as told by Dan Slott and Marcos Martin!
  • Industry powerhouse Geoff Johns delivers his first Marvel story in over 20 years, teaming up with frequent collaborator and fellow superstar Gary Frank! A crisis ensues as the hit creative team bring the Super- and Spider-families against each together at the summons of MYSTERIO…but is their true foe an ally out of control?!
  • SYMBIOTE hordes invade Metropolis as a new War of the Realms ignites in Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman’s epic reunion starring Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor, Wonder Woman and more!
  • Co-creator of STEEL Louise Simonson and artist Todd Nauck hammer out the tale of John Henry Irons’ clash with the HOBGOBLIN.
  • Current Amazing Spider-Man scribe Joe Kelly and artist Humberto Ramos deliver a campus crossover between GWEN STACY and LANA LANG!
  • SPIDER-MAN (MILES MORALES) teams up with SUPERMAN in a tale by Miles’ legendary co-creators, Brian Michael Bendis, who recently made his grand return to Marvel, and Sara Pichelli!
  • GHOST-SPIDER and SUPERGIRL form an unbreakable bond on a high-stakes adventure by current All-New Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider scribe Stephanie Phillips and superstar artist Phil Noto!
  • Masterful super hero storytellers Jeph Loeb and Jim Cheung reunite to put their own spin on a Spider-Man/Superman team-up!
  • And more!

Covers galore

Naturally, along with the book itself will be a full slate of variant covers. Fans will have their pick from a mighty lot of six, including work from some of the biggest names around. How big? Well, Gary Frank, Humberto Ramos, E.M. Gist, Skottie Young, and the legendary Frank Miller will all be on board. And of course, Miller got some Batman action cooking for his variant.

Get a look at those actual covers, in the gallery below. As for when all of this will be out and ready for you to add to your own collections, as mentioned, that’ll be April. Spider-Man/Superman #1 will follow March’s Superman/Spider-Man #1, and land in stores on April 15th, 2026.
