Sideshow’s new Bib Fortuna gets unboxed

Sideshow’s new adaptation of Jabba the Hutt’s right hand creep is here. Return of the Jedi’s Bib Fortuna gets the full unboxing treatment.

Ne jabba no badda

One of the best-loved, not to mention memorable, settings from Return of the Jedi was Jabba’s palace. That set of scenes has some serious movie-magic happening, not the least of which is the sheer glut of characters that inhabit them.

The entire main cast is present, as well as Boba Fett, (then) newcomer Jabba the Hutt himself, and a full court of aliens. Not the least of those either, is Bib Fortuna. A Twi’lek who serves as the crime lord’s majordomo, Fortuna has the unenviable task of controlling Jabba’s schedule. Or at least, he tried to. We’ll just say that it didn’t go the best when he was confronted with Luke Skywalker.

As badly as that interaction eventually turned out though, Fortuna has remained a major figure in the Star Wars mythos. Heck, he even made it to the new era. Kind of. In any event though, Sideshow’s new Scum & Villainy line of Star Wars figures is bringing old Bib into the fold, as one of its newest releases.

And as such, the retailer has produced an unboxing to give fans a better look.

The Bib Fortuna™ 1/6 Scale High-End Collectible Figure by Sideshow expertly captures the sinister presence of this iconic attendant.

Inspired by the character’s appearance in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™, this fully articulated, highly poseable, high-end 1/6 scale figurewears a carefully crafted fabric outfit accurate to his on-screen look. Bib Fortuna’s courtly garb includes a long black cloak draped over a blue tunic, blue gloves, and a large chest plate. His distinctive Twi’lek features including pale skin, long lekku, red eyes, and triangular teeth are expertly captured in a detailed headsculpt. He also comes with two sets of hands so that collectors can recreate his expressive gestures from the movie.

The Bib Fortuna™ 1/6 Scale High-End Collectible Figure by Sideshow is ready to oversee your shelf — and perhaps a devious deal or two. Available to pre-order now from Sideshow.com.
