It’s almost time for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 to hit retail. Before that happens though, check out the PC and hendheld specs.
Going Black (Ops)
It’s almost hard to believe that we’re on the precipice of yet another Call of Duty title. That’s just what’s heading to both consoles and the PC this month however, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 landing on November 14th.
With that launch just ten days off, Activision has followed up on the multiplayer talk from a few weeks back. The new info comes in the form of the specs that fans’ PCs will have to clock in at to run the game. The publisher says that developer Beenox has been in charge of that specific edition, and has “engineered” the game for the platform. That shakes out to mean that players will be able to have reported “complete control” over their experience. Of course, that’s really nothing new for PC players.
Be that as it may too, there are still minimum and recommended (and more) specifications. Those you can dig into via the official Call of Duty blog, and a new post that talks up the finer points of the game’s perforce-to-be, as well as pre-loading. Along with that though, there’s a new category to check off, and that’s how handhelds will, uh, handle it.
Basically, fans of handheld PCs like the ROG Xbox Ally and others should be pleased. Activision specifically cites the above, as well as the ROG Xbox Ally X, as being supported. But compatibility doesn’t stop there, as the post does mention “supported” handhelds. Just make sure you check that list before you grab a copy of the game, if you’re going to be playing portably.
All of the above is gone over in much more detail here, on the CoD blog.
Before you go, check out the latest trailer
Along with the post containing all of the above, we’ve also got a fresh trailer for you. This new look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ties into the PC-theme too, and is packed with looks at the game in action. Viewers will get to see glimpses of the campaign, multiplayer, and zombies therein.
Oh, and it’s looking pretty visually terrific as well.
