Prime Gaming delivers werewolves, vampires and more for October ’25

The scariest month of the year sees a creepy collection of PC games coming up for Prime Gaming subscribers.

Prime Gaming gets spooky

It’s that time of year, when the ghosts and ghouls take over the gaming sphere. At least, it is here at BG, as we always prefer playing some horror-themed titles when October rolls around. And if you’re anything like us, then you might want to check out the PC games that are hitting Prime Gaming.

October of 2025 will be a pretty sharp month for those looking for a scare or two. Subscribers will find a gaggle of horror games mixed in with the slate, including Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York, Tormented Souls, Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest, and more.

As usual, these drops are staggered throughout the month too. So genre fans should find a little something scary (or otherwise) to play, no matter the week.

October’s full Prime Gaming lineup includes:

Luna gets in on the act

Not to be outdone by Prime Gaming‘s list of freebies, is Amazon’s Luna service. While it won’t be as heavy on the horror as the aforementioned, the streaming platform will welcome in a pretty big recent release. That would be Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition, giving players the ability to dig into an even more zombified version of LA for Halloween.

If you know Luna though, you know the drill. Subscribers can play all they want of the month’s list, but only until the next assortment of games rotates in for November. So if you want to get into Dead Island 2, or the other offerings, get ’em while the getting’s good.
