The Airlite Fit makes the leap to Nintendo Switch 2, out now

Turtle Beach’s Airlite Fit headset arrives for Nintendo’s Switch 2, officially branded and with a pair of colorways.

Lite and fit

Not too long ago, we reviewed Turtle Beach’s terrific Airlite Fit headset. Made for the Switch, the lightweight and comfy unit delivered surprisingly great sound, all wrapped up in a colorful package that matched Nintendo’s original home and away console.

But now that the Switch 2 is here, and all the rage, some might want a headset that matches. We totally get that feeling, since it’s always nice to have some fresh accessories to go along with your shiny new console. And if that describes your thinking on the matter, keep reading.

Back with another revision, is the newly ‘Switch 2’ christened run of the Airtight Fit. Just launched from manufacturer Turtle Beach, the headset looks to include the same hardware that was stocked in the original version of the headset, but with a fresh deco.

That’s a good thing, as far as we’re concerned. We really dug what Turtle Beach was dishing out with that original, and tagged it with an 80%. Noting its neon red/blue aesthetic, our review added that the “Airlite Fit delivers solid sound and surprising bass in a low cost package”. But while the performance should be more or less the same this time around, the exterior is all-new.

Fit for a Switch (2)

The new Airlite Fit headset fort Switch 2 comes in a pair of colorways. Those include a really neat looking white and black, along with charcoal black. The latter even reflects the accents of neon red and blue that the console has, so if you’re looking for a headset that works with the vibe, the updated Airlite Fit would fit the visual bill.

Both of the above are out right now, and priced in at $27.99 USD via Turtle Beach’s online shop. Also worth a note, is that there’s a third color option coming up at some point, with Ghost Purple. For those players who remember the GameCube fondly, that might be a cool pick as well.
