NYCC ’25: DC Comics heads back to the Con with multi-level booth and more

Looks like Gotham will once again be a hotbed of DC Comics action, as the publisher is set to hit NYCC in a big way.

The Dark Knight rises

We might be wrong, but we’re thinking it’s been a while since DC Comics had a proper appearance at New York Comic Con. And by that, we mean a booth. Whatever the case though, the publisher is coming back, and in a big way, with the 2025 edition of the NYC mega-con. Booth #4365 will be the place on the show floor for all things DC, and where fans can find a “multi-level DC booth” that sounds like it’ll be in line with this past summer’s SDCC edition.

Like in San Diego, the company will be celebrating its march towards what’ll be its 100 year anniversary. That party kicks off now, with a celebration of 1935 to 1945. That covers DC’s first ten years in business, with each year out of this coming decades to be a reflection on a different subsequent decade. It’s a cool idea as far as we’re concerned, and one that’ll conclude in 2035.

Like SDCC too, NYCC 2025’s DC booth will bring a free “1940s-style Daily Planet newspaper”. The paper will be “prominently featuring art and ads from this first decade of publication, also delivers first looks at some of DC’s most anticipated titles releasing this year, as well as communicating DC’s panel schedule and events offered during NYCC 2025.”

Much more than just nostalgia

While that’s pretty neat in and of itself, it’s far from all that DC Comics will have ready to roll at NYCC. The publisher has revealed that there’ll also be a selection of exclusives, interactive experiences, and in-booth appearances on tap.

That last category will include some DC heavy hitters too, like DC President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee, Batman writer Matt Fraction, and artist Jorge Jiménez. Also joining in on the fun will be DC K.O. “writer and co-architect” Scott Snyder. And speaking of DC K.O., that appearance won’t be the only part of the Con dedicated to DC’s big fall event.

A Saturday panel will dig into DC K.O., along with several other happenings, like Knightfight, and DC’s Absolute line. Other panels include an overview of the Batman books, one centered on Vertigo, and of course Jim Lee and Friends.

Get the lowdown on all of the above, and much more, in the official rundown below.

PANELS

DC’s engaging panels and screenings will offer exclusive insights into the world of comics, animation, and more, and offer fans a glimpse into the future of their favorite DC Super Heroes. Renowned writers, artists, and industry experts will take the stage to discuss upcoming projects, share behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and answer fan questions. Whether attendees are curious about the next major DC story arcs or seeking insider knowledge, DC’s panels will be an essential destination for NYCC attendees.
