Sideshow reveals on of Hot Toys’ most unique clones yet with Star Wars’ Sergeant Hound

An ARF trooper and massiff handler, Sergeant Hound is set to join Hot Toys’ Star Wars lineup some time in late 2026.

Hot Toys has made… a lot of Star Wars characters at this point. A good amount of those have indeed been Clone Troopers too, and in various forms. The backbone of the Republic forces in the prequel era, the Clones included a number of different troop-types, including the ARF Trooper.

Short for “Advanced Recon Force”, the ARF Troopers had a cool look that called back (forward?) to the Scout Troopers of the Original Trilogy. That visage carried over to Troopers in the command ranks as well, like Sergeant Hound.

Hound was not solely a sergeant of the Coruscant Guard, as he was also a handler of reptilian massiffs. He would use the animals, including his companion Grizzer, to track down fugitives, including rogue Jedi. Something that plays right into the latest announcement from Hot Toys.

Revealed by retailer Sideshow, Sergeant Hound will be joining Hot Toys’ line, in the second half of next year. And yes, the figure is actually a set, including not only Hound, but also Grizzer.
