Portable gaming gets smaller, with the upcoming HyperMegaTech! Super Micro Keychains

Something slick is on the way from Blaze’s HyperMegaTech!’s upcoming Super Micro Keychain Gamer Collection.

Like never before

We’ve all seen standalone portable gaming units. And no, we’re not talking about the Nintendo DS or the like. You know the ones we mean though, handheld consoles that have either a single game or a small selection onboard, that are meant for portability.

But while those kinds of handhelds are great, the ones that HyperMegaTech! has coming up take it to another level. Dubbed the Super Micro Keychain Gamer Collection, this set of titles is as compact as it gets, yet still look to feature a pretty nice configuration.

The lineup of four portables will each feature a 2″ RGB TFT screen, single speaker (with volume control), and a surprisingly nice looking control suite. Of course, onboard will be a set of iconic classics from decades gone by as well, and there will be multiple titles on each.

The line includes:

  • Super Micro Asteroids Edition (#1) – Asteroids®, Gravitar®, and Yars’ Revenge® from the golden age of arcade shooters.
  • Super Micro Centipede Edition (#2) – Three Atari classics: Centipede®, Millipede®, and Crystal Castles®.
  • Super Micro Space Invaders Edition (#3) – The legendary Space Invaders™, officially licensed from Taito.
  • Super Micro BurgerTime Edition (#4) – Data East favourites BurgerTime®, Karate Champ®, and Side Pocket.
