Hot Toys’ take on James Bond’s final appearance gets an unboxing

Decked out in his commando duds, 007 engages with his final mission in No Time To Die, and Sideshow has a detailed look.

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to… oh

No Time to Die, the film that capped off the Daniel Craig era of Bond films, was just a tad divisive. We feel like that’s appropriate to say, since the action flick actually brought that specific actor’s version of 007 to a decisive end. And that being the first time an era of Bond actually did that, it was bound to ruffle some feathers.

That being said though, there are some things to still like about it. Craig’s performance for one thing, was in keeping with his portrayal throughout the series, and of course there was some solid action as well. Action figure company Hot Toys will be playing off of that latter element for its latest version of the super-spy as well, as the upcoming James Bond (Commando Outfit) figure reflects his look from the final act of the film.

Giving fans an early peek at the piece is retailer Sideshow, who’ve sent out another of their unboxing videos. Expect to see loads of accessories, multiple display options, and of course a pretty great likeness of Craig.

Hot Toys continues its James Bond lineup with a new James Bond (Commando Outfit) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure inspired by a pivotal scene in No Time To Die (2021).

The highly detailed headsculpt features a striking likeness of Daniel Craig in the role, expertly capturing his battle-worn look. The figure is extremely poseable with over 30 points of articulation and fans can even create nuanced expressions thanks to Hot Toys’ innovative rolling eyeball design.

Bond sports a meticulously crafted commando outfit that includes a ribbed army sweater layered over a blood-stained Henley shirt, held in place by braces. A utility belt with pouch, dual thigh straps with holsters, combat trousers, and tactical boots complete his mission-ready ensemble.

The legendary spy is primed for action with a variety of weapons, including a Close Quarters Battle Receiver with a removable magazine, a slidable sight, a flippable dust cover, and a retractable stock, plus 2 detailed pistols and 4 grenades. Other accessories include a watch, a pair of sunglasses, a gun sling, a tactical sling bag, and the bunny doll “Dou Dou” that was given to him by his daughter Mathilde, serving as a small but powerful reminder of what he’s fighting for. The set also comes with a gun-barrel themed backdrop and a tatami mat-style base for an immersive display.

Relive Bond’s iconic final mission with the James Bond (Commando Outfit) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure by Hot Toys. Available to pre-order now from Sideshow.com.
