Prop and collectible maker Factory Entertainment is about to enter a whole new arena, with a line of sixth scale action figures.
A whole new world
Preview Night was the place, as SDCC 2025 kicked off with Factory Entertainment’s unveiling of a brand new lineup of 1:6 scale action figures. It’s actually kind of hard to imagine that the company hasn’t delved into figures before, but this is indeed new for them, not that you’d know it.
From the look of the previewed pieces anyway, the series is shaping up quite nicely indeed, and includes some big time licenses. The 90s Brendan Frasier classic The Mummy leads the way, with a figure based on the lead actor. Additional pieces include Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica (the original series), and Quint from the legendary Jaws.

“We’re very excited to be entering the high-end action figure market,” said Jordan Schwartz, President and CEO of Factory Entertainment. “While we don’t intend to directly compete with or supplant the companies that currently dominate this sector, we will be judiciously adding some properties to our figure line that have not been served by the existing market, particularly where the figures would complement prop replicas and other products we are doing for those properties, such as Jaws and Battlestar Galactica.”
Factory Entertainment press release
There’s no word on pricing just yet for the new lineup, but fans can expect to see the above (and maybe more) hitting retail some time in 2026. If you’re at Comic Con this week as well, all three of these figures will continue to be on display in Factory Entertainment’s booth, which is #2743 on the show floor.
