SDCC ’25: Mad Cave Studios races to the Con with Speed Racer and more

Publisher Mad Cave is hitting SDCC today panels starring some of its biggest properties, like Speed Racer and Flash Gordon.

Comic Con is officially open, but we’re not done reporting on lineup reveals just yet. Mad Cave Studios will also be hitting the convention with a full spread of content planned, one that covers some of its biggest licenses. And if you’re not familiar with what the company produces, it’s quite the lineup of icons.

Amongst a host of original books, Mad Cave has published Speed Racer, Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Gatchaman, Dick Tracy and more. While not all of those titles will be represented by the panels or signings that the publisher has unveiled, a good chunk will.

And on top of those, there are many more planned out for the original series’ that we mentioned. Today is packed full of that as far as autograph signings go, with The Last Wardens, Past Time, and Ghost of Wreckers Cove all featuring. As for panels, those will kick off off tomorrow, with a look at the comedy of the printed page, and how it can pull in “reluctant readers”.

Oh ands make sure to make special note of Sunday too, if you’re an animation fan. The cast of Phineas and Ferb will be making an appearance for a cast signing. How cool is that?
