It’s PAC-MAN’s 45th, and fans will be able to celebrate in style at this year’s SDCC, with a visit to a special popup cafe.
Wakka-wakka-wakka
Are you in San Diego this week for Comic Con? If so, you might find yourself getting hungry while navigating the maze of the convention center’s aisles and street-level events surrounding the show. Fortunately, in such an eventuality, there’s the PAC-MAN Pop-Up Cafe.
More than just a popup eatery, the PAC-MAN Café will be a “retro-meets-modern gaming hub”, loaded with photo-ops and arcade games. There’ll even be some exclusive giveaways, so you might walkaway with more than just a “Team Ghosts Cake Pop”. But don’t worry, that’s all in addition to a pretty sharp looking menu of food and drink to buy.

The PAC-MAN Café will be open to the public for the duration of the Con, starting today, July 24th and running until the 27th. You’ll be able to find it at 323 Seventh Ave 23 Seventh Ave, in San Diego, though you won’t have to make your own way there, if you don’t want to.
That’s because PAC-MAN–wrapped vehicles will be on the move as part of a promotion with the Flywheel app during the Con. And if you do book a ride to the PAC-MAN Café, you’ll be in for “a free PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary sticker sheet and a promo code for a free slushie at the PAC-MAN Café”, according to the press release.
