Nintendo Download: Dawn of the Dads

Nintendo celebrates Father’s Day with a highlighted selection of Switch and Switch 2 titles, plus the usual assortment of indie releases.

For those outside of the US, you might be wondering what the heck is with all the ‘dad’ talk. The answer is, of course, that it’s Father’s Day weekend in the States, and so for that momentous occasion, Nintendo has dad-icated what’s an otherwise light Download to hyping some games that might be fun to play for the whole family. You know, before or after the cake and gift-wrapped ties.

Aside from that though, there are a few notable releases hitting this week, including some retro classics. Gex Trilogy lands for the Switch, brining back a set of games that are best known for starting on the 3DO and starring the voice talents of comedian Dana Gould.

There’s also Arcade Archives Ridge Racer, if you’d like to fire up a little on-track action, and for the Switch 2, there’s FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
