Survive deadly foes and vicious dinosaurs in the updated Steam Next Fest demo for Ferocious

Take a trip to Ferocious’ isle, loaded with hostile mercenaries, and a flora and fauna that’s decidedly jurassic in theme.

It’s a dino crisis!

There are a few classic properties that immediately sprung to mind when we saw the new trailer for Ferocious. A game that was not on our radar til now (somehow), tinyBuild and developer OMYOG’s upcoming FPS/survival title is looking incredibly impressive.

The game sends players onto a remote jungle isle, that’s home to a collection of wild dinosaurs. Those thunder lizards run the gamut as well, from massive sauropods to deadly raptors, and a bunch more in between. But, as you might imagine, that’s not all. There’s also a force of mercs on the isle, and they’re not looking for outsiders to poke around.

The updated demo for FEROCIOUS includes the Level 2 Crevasse from the previous playtest and introduces an entirely new area: the Level 3 Lowlands. Across two handcrafted chapters, you’ll explore dense jungle, navigate ancient ruins, face off against armed enemies, and survive encounters with something far more primal. Whether it’s your first dive into FEROCIOUS or you’re returning for more, the island has plenty of danger and discovery waiting for you!

tinyBuild press release

As you can see above, even if you’ve played the demo for Ferocious before, you might want to rev it up again since there’s that new update out. Just make sure you do it soon, since Steam Next Fest does come to a close on June 16th.

And if you’re looking forward to the final version of the game, stay tuned, as there’s no official date just yet.
