Hot Toys goes to the dark side for a pair of new Darth Vader figures

A pair of new Darth Vader figures are on the way from Hot Toys, one that comes complete with the operating table from Episode III.

Noooooooooooo

Is Hot Toys about to produce what might be one of the best Darth Vader figures ever made? That could very well be the case, as retailer Sideshow has taken the wraps off of the collectible company’s newest Dark Lord of the Sith. And this time he’s in all his Episode III glory.

The upcoming release comes with both Darth Vader‘s iconic mask and a battle-scarred Anakin Skywalker head sculpt that even includes Hot Toys’ rolling eyeball feature. That’s plus LED light-up features for his suit, a USB powered lightsaber, and a “space-station themed” base (which also lights up).

And if you think what you’re about to get a look at it impressive (most impressive), then make sure you keep scrolling to see the Deluxe Version.

This incredibly detailed action figure features a newly developed helmet as well as a highly accurate battle-damaged headsculpt. Vader is outfitted in a tailored black suit and sculpted armor – complete with an LED light-up chest panel and belt – all authentically replicating Vader’s iconic appearance in the film.

The Darth Vader™ 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure comes with a selection of interchangeable hands,  USB-powered lightsabers™, interchangeable saber blades, a space station-themed LED light-up figure display base and backdrop, and more!

Furthermore, a limited-time-only Special Edition version will include a Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith  20th anniversary commemorative metal plaque as a bonus accessory!

Pre-order the Darth Vader™ 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, or the Special Editionwith bonus accessory now via Sideshow.

Sideshow press release

Hot Toys’ new Darth Vader Collector Edition sixth scale figure is set to ship some time between April and September of 2026, and is available for pre-order now. In addition to the standard version too, there’s a Special Edition of the figure which includes a 20th anniversary Revenge of the Sith metal plaque. Both the Collector Edition and the Special Edition of the figure are priced in identically, at $315 USD.

And then there’s the Deluxe…

While the base edition of this upcoming figure is impressive enough, Hot Toys is really going all out for its Darth Vader Deluxe Version. That’s set to include everything that you see above, plus an operating table, interchangeable right hand, and a pair of medical droids, to reenact the final scene of Star Wars: Episode III.

As well as all of the features and accessories outlined above, the Darth Vader™ (Deluxe) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure exclusively includes a specially designed rotating operating table-themed environmental base, recreating the moment of Vader’s reconstruction.

The Deluxe version also comes with a pair of cuffed hands for an authentic recreation of Vader’s restrained posture during the operation, along with an interchangeable mechno right hand.

Accompanied by two mechanical arms and two drones – all attachable to the operating table environmental base – this premium collectible offers fans the ultimate collector’s display for this fateful moment in Anakin’s history, and a pivotal point in Star Wars lore.

Furthermore, a limited-time-only Special Edition version will include a Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith 20th anniversary commemorative metal plaque as bonus accessory!

Pre-order the Darth Vader™ (Deluxe) 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure, or the Special Edition with bonus accessory now via Sideshow.

Sideshow press release

Given all the extra accouterments, the Darth Vader Deluxe Version is priced in significantly more than the Collector Edition, at $495 USD. Like the Collector Edition though, is also for pre-order now with that same mid-2026 time frame marked for shipping.

Also mimicking the Collector Edition of the piece, there’s a special Deluxe Version Exclusive that includes that same metal Revenge of the Sith plaque, for the same price ($495 USD).
