A fuller week of games for the Nintendo Switch includes hoverboard title Star Overdrive and an assortment of additional launches.

You’re a star baby

If you’re looking for big names, this week’s Nintendo Download probably won’t scratch the itch. Nevertheless, it’s a much more ‘normal’ looking week for the Switch in terms of releases, and does include a few high points.

One of those is Star Overdrive, a game that sets players onto a futuristic hoverboard for some third-person action. The sci-fi adventure includes puzzle-solving and combat as well, plus something called the Keytar. We’re not quite sure what that might be, but we don’t think it’s a musical instrument.

As mentioned, this week also delivers a heavy dose of smaller releases for the console, including Arcade Archives Assault Plus, and Hook: Complete Edition, which is likely not the “Hook” you’re thinking of.
