In the midst of both Green Lantern and Aquaman series’ for DC, writer Jerry Adams has signed on as a multi-year exclusive.
Join the corps
Jeremy Adams has been a part of DC Comics’ writing corps for some time now, involved with multiple specials and event titles like Dark Crisis and Absolute Power. The Arizona native has written for film and television as well, including a myriad of DC’s own animated movies, plus had a run (pardon the pun) with The Flash that ran for 35 issues.

DC considers that particular series of books a big success, and Adams himself “a valuable contributor to DC’s publishing plans.” So with that in mind, it should be no surprise that the publisher would want to keep him onboard. That’s just what happened this week, with the writer signing a multi-year contract that’ll keep his work exclusive to the company.
“As a fan first and a longtime admirer of DC’s legacy, it is an honor to follow in the footsteps of the luminaries whose words have thrilled, entertained and inspired me since my earliest days,” Adams says. “It’s such a joy to bring these characters to life, to craft new twists, powers and adventures, and to strive to provide the same level of imaginative entertainment that I’ve enjoyed for my entire life.”
DC Comics press release
It’s not clear what new projects Adams might be working on the short or long term, but he’s already got several titles rolling as you read this. Presently, he pens the new Aquaman book that debuted last month (the second issue of which just arrived in stores), plus has Green Lantern #20 en route for February 25th. On top of that, he’s also debuted the latest Green Lantern Corps series which also hit shops earlier this month. Now that’s a busy guy.
